High-performance on a tight budget. It's also possible to game on this one, though with the tight storage requirements, I wouldn't recommend it.

I'd get the 512 GB one for $440 if I were shopping for myself.

The Pentium 4415U in the $450 version is surprisingly strong, and the 128 GB of storage is tight but probably sufficient for many people's needs.

If you wish, you can purchase additional storage via Transcend JetDrive Lite ($45 for 128 GB) or my preferred solution, a mini flash drive like this PNY Elite Fit or this SanDisk Ultra Fit. The PNY and the SanDisk retail at about $20 for 128 GB.

Either the JetDrive or the mini flash drive can be left in the computer at all times; expanding your storage capability without jumping to a much pricier configuration.

Very high performance, with plenty of storage capacity. A logical balance of price and performance.

• 1 TB regular spinning hard drive

While I'm not enthusiastic about the lack of a solid-state drive at this price, it's not a bad option if you want lots of storage and the versatility of a 360-degree hinge.
